Biography and profile
I am happy to serve the Committee to share my experience, knowledge and background on this exciting endeavour.
I am a seasoned management professional with a broad and extensive career in management, specializing in project management with more than 20 years of industry experience. I earned a specialized Masters Degree in Project Management which enhanced my capability to manage high-risk projects. I focus on leveraging organizational strengths while balancing operational impacts to ensure projects achieve productive outcomes.

It is important to me that once a project ends, organizations continue to reap the benefits in the post-project stage.
As a project management specialist, my project experiences include information technology projects which involve the implementation of enterprise information systems, ranging from small to large scale projects on a local to a global level. My project assignments involved governments at all levels, agencies, research and development and engineering organizations, and management consulting. Project challenges I have enjoyed addressing include: establishing project framework structures and processes, cost-benefit analysis, benefits realization, business process engineering, employee training development and implementation, change and outcomes management.
In my current career role, I am responsible for program management and business operations for a fast-paced, growing, start-up organization. In this role, I have been able to benefit from my past experience running company operations, including but not limited to, finance and accounting controls, policy development and program management.
Personal
In joining the CKC, I have been privileged to be included in a unique community sharing a common interest, and more specifically, dog performance sports. I was conditioned to be fearful of dogs at a young age, however, with the arrival of my first dog, a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, I now believe I have been missing out on something very special all those years. My Tollers teach me something new each day and increase my appreciation for patience, understanding and support in their lives, as well as my own. There’s never a dull moment with my Tollers and I relish in these moments.
