CKC Seeks Volunteers for the Club Recognition Committee

The Board of Directors of the Canadian Kennel Club encourages active participation from the general membership of the Club and requests submissions from interested parties for the Club Recognition Committee.

Applications should be received no later than October 23, 2015.

To be considered, please forward a cover letter expressing your desire to serve on this committee.  Your cover letter must be accompanied by a copy of your C.V. and/or a summary detailing your background relevant to the fancy, clubs and committee experience.  Please send your submission to [email protected] with Club Recognition Committee noted in the subject line. When responding by mail, please address the envelope to the Club Recognition Committee and send applications to:

Club Recognition Committee
 
The Club Recognition Committee shall be a committee of four (4) members, comprised of a Board liaison and three (3) Board appointed members from the general membership of the Club.
 
The committee shall be responsible for making recommendations to the Board in the development of Policy Guidelines and/or Programs as authorized by the Board of Directors related to approved clubs. The committee shall be responsible for approving the initial recognition of a club.  The Club Recognition Committee shall conduct no arbitrations and/or investigations or adjudicate any dispute within clubs or hear complaints from third parties.
