Mark Your Calendars for Voting! Notice of 2025 CKC Referendum


The Canadian Kennel Club is YOUR club. We need you to VOTE in this year’s Referendum to ensure our members’ voices are heard when important decisions are being proposed.

Following the December Board of Directors’ meeting, the Board has ordered a Special Referendum Ballot to take place June 1, 2025.

A copy of all Proposed Amendments, including 40 Rules of Eligibility changes as well as By-Law changes, will be shared with you in the coming months before the Referendum.

In order to be eligible to vote in a Special Referendum, a member must meet all of the following requirements at least fifteen (15) days prior to distributing the ballots:

(a) be a member in good standing
(b) be a resident of Canada
(c) have completed one (1) continuous year of membership in the Club
(d) have attained the age of nineteen (19) years

We need your VOTE! In order to ensure your voice is heard and you can vote, your CKC membership must be renewed. If you haven’t already done so, you can renew your membership today in your Member Portal.
