We are pleased to announce the launch of our new
Advocacy page on the CKC website, which can be accessed via the main menu bar on
ckc.ca.
Our advocacy efforts play an integral role in promoting the interests of CKC members and the health and well-being of all dogs. We are excited to share the Advocacy page, which will be a place for CKC members and the public to:
- Stay Informed and up to date with CKC advocacy efforts, news, resources, blogs and more!
- Get Involved and find out how to make an impact by advocating to decision makers. There will be information and resources such as tips for writing letters and contacting elected officials.
Advocacy continues to be a key strategic priority at CKC. We remain committed to building meaningful relationships with government and other animal-related organizations to further our goals. This includes influencing policies, legislation and regulations that impact purebred dogs. With the support of the CKC Board and our Advocacy Committee, we continue to grow our advocacy efforts which include the development of a CKC Ambassador program, as well as advocacy tools to support and empower members across the country.
The content on the Advocacy page will be developed further over the coming weeks and months with the aim of keeping our members and visitors to
CKC.ca apprised of CKC’s ongoing advocacy activities. We encourage you to visit the page often and if you have any questions, please contact us at
[email protected].
