Mackenzie sent CKC a thank you in appreciation:
Dear Canadian Kennel Club,
I am writing to express my gratitude for your generous support through The Canadian Kennel Club Award. Receiving this award means so much to me. It not only provided me with great financial assistance, it has also been incredibly motivating. Since my first year of veterinary school, I have been extremely interested in and passionate about small animal surgery. Receiving this award is a motivator for me to pursue my professional goals in small animal surgery. Thank you so much for your commitment to supporting students like me.
I hope to continue to grow my surgical skills and use it to help others. It is my desire to make an impact and give back to the community through this passion. Thank you once again for your kindness and support.
Warmest regards,
Mackenzie Pope
