Executive Director’s Update | March 2022


Dear members,

A few weeks ago, I shared a video update on the backlog CKC was experiencing in processing our event results. I am pleased to follow up with some good news on the issue.
 
We are now caught up and back to normal. All but a few problematic events were data entered and points calculated by last week, and the last of the titles are being mailed out this week. 
 
I would again like to apologize to our members for the delay and inconvenience this has caused many of you. I would also like to thank our members for their support. On behalf of the board and the staff team, we are committed to ensuring this backlog does not happen again. We continually improve our system to support our staff team, and we are expecting a much more normal flow of events than we experienced last fall. I am also keen to see how the CKC, with the support of our clubs, can improve the overall process of event results and make it simpler and more efficient for everyone. 
 
Again, thank you for your patience and support of the Canadian Kennel Club.
