CKC Fee Schedule Update


As we have every few years, the CKC will be updating our fee schedule and the changes will go into effect on March 31, 2022. 
 
The majority of fees are not changing.  There has been no increase in membership fees, or the primary shows and trial fees.  Litter and Dog registration fees will be changing. Members who submit their registrations within 120 days have a very nominal increase. The increases are larger for those who submit registrations late, after 120 days. The largest increases are for those who use the CKC systems but are not members of the CKC. 
 
New this year is a $10 per application fee for those who register their litter and dogs by mail. Mailed-in applications are significantly more expensive to process, and we encourage all our members to use our online Portal which is faster and more efficient instead. Also new this year will be the choice to receive an emailed PDF of your regisration certificates for free or pay $2 per certificate to have a paper certificate mailed. 
 
Enjoy savings when you are a member of the CKC, submit your registrations on time and take full advantage of the ease and speed of the digital channels through our online Portal.
 
 
A few other fee updates include:
  • We have removed fees for extending a dog name up to 50 characters, new breed recognition, and Earth Dog GME/GMEx Titles
  • Life Members are all now Life Members Plus with no fees
  • The non-Member participation Fee has increased to $170
  • We have simplified the Foreign-Born Registration fees to one fee type without tiers
  • MCN fees are now aligned to the same cost as registering a recognized dog
