Notice to Exhibitors RE: COVID-19 Title Exceptions


Great news! Your dog may qualify for a covid title exception.
 
The criteria to apply for a covid title exception are detailed below: 
  • Exceptions will be considered for dogs that competed in all CKC event types.
  • Exceptions will only be considered for dogs that competed in 2020 and 2021.
  • Exceptions will only be made for dogs that have met all of the requirements for the title with the exception of the number of judges.
  • Exceptions will only be considered for dogs that are no longer able to perform/compete in the specific event type for which the owner is applying for the title.  If necessary, a letter from a veterinarian may be requested.
 
Examples:
  1. Owner applies for an Agility Master Excellent title, that dog must no longer be able to perform/compete in Agility.
  2. Owner applies for a Conformation Champion title, that dog must no longer be able to compete in Conformation.
 
If your dog qualifies based on the above criteria, please submit an Application for Covid-19 Title Exception to [email protected] by June 30, 2022.
 
Applications must be completed by one of the owners of the dog on the application, using 1 application per dog.
 
Applications will only be considered if submitted on or before June 30, 2022.
