CKC Member Breeders Invited to Participate in OVC Survey


CKC is pleased to work with researchers from the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC), University of Guelph, to support studies on puppy care and the management of breeding bitches. Researchers are looking to identify early management factors that might be protective against the development of behaviour and welfare issues later in a puppy’s life.
 
To further this research, CKC member breeders are invited to participate in a survey on this important subject. Additional surveys will be released in the coming months.
 
Supporting the health and well-being of all dogs is integral to our mission and values and we encourage our member breeders to take part in this worthy initiative. Kindly submit your responses to the survey no later than May 28, 2021. Further details about the scope of the survey are available here.
