The Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Michael Shoreman on Monday, March 25, 2019.
Mike was a dedicated and well-respected dog man, who brought great passion to every aspect of his involvement in the dog fancy. His wisdom, laughter and kindness will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of sharing time with him, including CKC Executive Director, Lance Novak: “I will remember Mike as one of the very first CKC members I ever met. He was the Chair of the Board at the time and I recall his leadership and overview of the club that made me know I would be proud to represent. He was a highly respected champion of the Canadian dog fancy to the entire world.”
A more comprehensive tribute of Mike’s legacy will be available in the coming days.
Our thoughts are with Mike’s family and friends during this difficult time.
A funeral mass will be held for Mike on Saturday, March 30, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Phelpston, Ontario. Friends may also forward their condolences to Mike’s family by visiting http://www.lynnstonefuneralhome.com/obituaries.php.
