Subaru’s Multi-Discipline Top Dogs for 2016

Last year, inspired by the unprecedented achievement of Charlie MacMillan and Fly’R for placing in the Top 10 MultidisciplineDogs.jpgall breeds in two disciplines for six consecutive years, the CKC added a new category of Top Dogs to recognize participants that successfully competed in a variety of events.

In 2016, there were 88 dogs that earned Top Dog spots in two or three events. For the second time in CKC history, there was a team that placed in the Top 10 all breeds in two disciplines. Heather Watt and Caesar left their mark in the obedience and rally rings. Remarkably, Caesar is the first dog Heather has trained! Heather’s success is proof that whether you are a 45-year veteran or a first-time trainer, everyone has an equal opportunity to be a Top Dog!

A credit to the sport of purebred dogs, the achievements and hard work of Multi-Discipline Top Dogs are a testament to each dog’s versatility and the dedication of their owners. By recognizing these talented dogs, we hope more owners will be encouraged to try one of the many events offered by the CKC.

Congratulations to all Multi-Discipline Top Dogs!
