Once again, the CKC Agility Team Canada (CKC ATC) look forward to showcasing the best in Canadian Agility at the international level at the 2012 FCI World Agility Championships in Liberec, Czech Republic from Wednesday Oct. 3, 2012 to Sunday Oct. 7, 2012. The dedicated and passionate CKC ATC members, along with their canine athletes are consummate professionals who present a strong Canadian presence and remain committed to promoting the awareness and growth of Agility nationally and internationally. With an emphasis on teamwork, this popular and entertaining sport, featuring dogs of all breeds and sizes, truly highlights the special bond between dog and handler.
Competing at the international level would not be possible without the tireless efforts of dedicated volunteers who prepare and train the Agility athletes for competition on the world stage. Team preparation, travel, and training carry significant expense and require financial support through sponsorship and fundraising efforts.
As part of the fundraising efforts, the team has invited Polona Bonac, a skilled European handler and coach from Slovenia to work with the team and offer workshops as a fundraiser and training opportunity for Canadian Agility Enthusiasts. The workshops will be held July 2-4 at Royackers Kennels in Arris, Ontario. Click here for more details.
