We follow the Whippet Health Foundation recommendations for pre-breeding health testing including annual OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) advanced cardiac echocardiogram and eye clearances. We also BAER test for deafness, and DNA test for Myostatin gene (double muscling). We have several generations of health tested whippets and our results are publicly available on the OFA website.
