The English Springer Spaniel's temperament makes this dog a joy to be around. They have a bubbly personality and are always good for a cuddle when you having a bad day. They are highly intelligent and attentive to your needs which makes them great to train. English Springer Spaniels love to retrieve and are active dogs. Which make them great hunters or just a friend to play a good game of fetch with. You can enjoy hours outdoors hunting, walking, swimming and playing with your dog. They are also great partners to train for hunting and field competitions. Their average size is 19-20 inches at the shoulder. A healthy weight is 35- 50 pounds. They like to have their ears cleaned, nail trimmed and enjoy being brushed or a light hair trimming to keep them looking their best.
